How much does a ceramic kiln cost?

Small 120V ceramic kilns start around $1,300; mid-size studio kilns typically run $1,500–$3,000; and large or high-fire production models go up from there. Every kiln we sell ships free with no sales tax, so the listed price is the full price.

What's the best ceramic kiln for a home studio?

What cone rating do I need?

Earthenware and most glazes fire low (cone 06–04), stoneware fires in the cone 5–6 range, and porcelain typically needs cone 8–10. Choose a kiln rated at least one cone above your hottest planned firing so it isn't working at its limit. Our guide to pyrometric cones explains the system.

Do ceramic kilns come with a warranty and support?

Yes — every new kiln carries the full manufacturer warranty, and we're authorized dealers for Evenheat, Jen-Ken, Olympic, Cress and Paragon, so warranty service is straightforward.

How long does delivery take?
