The High Fire personal size kilns are designed to reach the outer limits of ceramic firing!
High Fire models are constructed of 3" firebrick that offers more insulation and ability to reach high temperature faster and easier. If your plans include firing high temperatures then the High Fire Series is made just for you.
Our personal size models fit well into any small studio and are even used by larger studios for testing and one-off work.
All High Fire models are equipped with our Swing View control enclosure for "stand-up" programming as well as multiple control choices including the TAP and Genesis touchscreens. Order yours with our solid state relays and never replace a relay again.
The HF 810 is designed for china painting and all clays up to 2300°F (1260°C), cone 8. Its small size and 120V operation make it perfect for the casual and private studio.

Quiet Drive Solid State Relay
Evenheat's patented Quiet Drive Solid State Relay is hands down the best investment you can make in your kiln!
With no moving parts, this relay is able to be triggered up to 60 times a second as opposed to the upper limit of 10 times a second on the default mechanical relay. This means incredibly tight temperature control ensuring each and every one of your firings is as accurate as possible.

Genesis by Barlett Instruments
The Genesis is a touch screen option which has extended functionality over traditional button controllers!
The Genesis has the ability to store up to 12 different programs - with up to 32 segments per program each! You'll have no trouble adding segments, skipping, or adding temperature along the way.
This is a great choice for a controller if you want the features of a smart controller, but want the ease of straightforward programming and use.
Rampmaster
The Rampmaster provides additional versatility over the Set-Pro controller.
With a numerical keypad,
it allows the operators to create up to 12 firing programs, each including up to 8 segments.
Need to make adjustments as you go? On-the-fly adjustments and other menu functions are available to provide additional control and create your ideal firing profile.
The Rampmaster also supports the Loud Alarm option.
Set-Pro
The Set-Pro is our basic, no frills controller. It gets the job done, but does not offer nearly as much flexibility as the others.
It offers the option to create 8 firing programs, with 8 segments each.
This is a good choice if you're only planning to occasionally use your oven and do not want room to expand in the future.
Orton Vent Master Downdraft Vent System
With all ceramic and glass kilns, we highly recommend that they be vented to the outside. But why?
First and foremost - is your safety! When heating various materials in your kiln, many have byproducts that burn off and are released into the air. These byproducts are toxic and you don't want that mixing with the air you're breathing.
The Orton Vent Master has a patented process called "Downdraft Venting". By manufacturing the kiln with a hole in the bottom, we're able to attach the vent here and pull the fumes out and vent them outside through a duct or window.
This process helps improve the air flow and produce more uniform temperatures throughout the chamber, ensuring that each of your pieces is accurately being heated. The additional oxygen will ensure your colors develop to their truest nature.
In addition, with downdraft venting - you'll extend the life of the elements and other metals within our kiln, ensuring your kiln lasts longer and you have reduced repair costs down the road. We often hear from customers that they are confident that by utilizing their venting system their kiln will last much longer than it would have otherwise and that the investment has more than paid for itself.
Furniture Kit
Furniture Kits are necessary accessories for any kiln owner as firing directly on the kiln floor is not only bad for the kiln, but your pieces as well. In addition to this, they're also useful! A furniture kit will allow you to stack multiple shelves on top of one another in order to maximize the useable space when firing smaller pieces.
If you have one that will fit this kiln size already, then you're in luck! But if not, you'll want to ensure you add this to your order as well.
Furniture Kit includes:

Kiln furniture can be special ordered separately, but if done so the cost is ~10-20% higher and will incur a separate shipping charge. It's best to include this on your initial order of the kiln.

Stand with caster wheels
The standard order of this kiln comes with a stationary stand built to handle the weight, heat, and shape of the kiln. While this works perfectly fine, attempting to move your kiln can be a difficult maneuver and could result in a damaged stand, or worse - a broken kiln!
Ordering a stand with caster wheels ensures the whole process of moving your kiln for any reason is a smooth and simple process.
No longer worry about if you're running out of room within your garage - you can tuck your kiln away in a corner when it's not in use! And of course - if you're one for moving the kiln around the studio or other rooms, this is essentially a necessity.
When ordered with a vent system - make sure to detach first before moving the kiln.
Depending on the model, the stand will vary in height. Its primary use is for mobility.
Power Interrupt Switch / Automatic Lid Shutoff
The power interrupt switch is a useful safety feature which removes power from the heating elements of your kiln once it is opened, and reapplies the power once the lid has been closed.
If you believe you'd ever like to open the kiln during firing, the power interrupt switch is a highly recommended addition to your new purchase.

Warranty
Evenheat warranty highlights
- Two years from the date of purchase on the kiln, covering defects in workmanship and materials.
- Lid exceptions: one year on Evolution Series fiber lids (ceramic kilns) and on Superwool lids (glass kilns). Heat treat ovens have no lid exception.
- Report a defect to Soul Ceramics within 10 days of discovering it and keep your proof of purchase.
- Evenheat repairs or replaces the defective part. Replacement parts ship prepaid from Evenheat; you pay shipping to the factory if a part or kiln has to go back.
- Not covered: overfiring, incorrect voltage or electrical installation, freight damage, kiln furniture and ware, reduction or salt firing, and kilns altered in any way.
- Labor is not addressed in the warranty. Expect a parts warranty with phone support for installation.
Extended warranty (Clyde)
- Optional extended protection from Clyde can be added to eligible products at checkout, on top of the manufacturer's warranty.
- Clyde plans cover the core product only. Add-on options such as controllers, furniture kits, stands, blade fixtures and vents are not included.

Reviews
I purchased the Evenheat HF 1818 kiln from Soul Ceramics. The product came via freight and it was packaged and shipped very well. The unboxing was easy, with minimal installation required. In addition, I purchased the furniture kit, and the downdraft vent. I also upgraded the controller to the Genesis 2 Icon+, with solid state relays, which I’m very happy I did.
I’ve done a series of bisque and glaze firings, and I’m very happy with the results. The kiln has 3 inch fire bricks and is very well insulated, and as easy to program. I highly recommend this kiln.
I also recommend Soul Ceramics as a retailer. They were very helpful in my selection of the kiln, and made some good recommendations. Their prices were the best I could find, and their feedback and communication was great during the ordering and waiting process.
I originally ordered a doll kiln, but decided it was too small for my needs, settled on the Evenheat HF 1413HF, after calculating it would hold at least 8 of my very large mugs for a glaze firing. Discovered it actually holds about 10, which is great. Opted for the simplest Icon controller and I'm glad, it has just enough info for me to keep track of how each firing did, including the cost per firing, and the menu selection is super simple to choose and modify if I want to. Was surprised at the cost -- I'd heard horror stories of people swearing firing a kiln at home would break me financially for the energy costs, but once I fed in our local (admittedly low) utility rate and wattage, my bisque and glaze come out somewhere between $1.20 and $1.50 per firing. Nice! I'm quite happy with this size kiln, it isn't so big that I go weeks without being able to fill it, but is also compact enough that if I wanted to fire just a few pieces one week, it's easy to do without wasting a ton of empty space.
By far, the nicest thing about this size kiln is the firing time -- I can reliably now start it anytime in the morning, and unload it the next morning. That makes for very quick turnaround! Nice to know when I need to turn some things around for a show quickly.
The snafu from Evenheat was that they sent me the wrong size shelves for the kiln -- not once, but TWICE! Apparently a mis-labeling of boxes of kiln furniture at their warehouse? But I called them directly and emailed when I got the second wrong box, and they handled it quickly, even overnighting the corrected size.
Overall, happy with the purchase. Like the 2 year warranty, and Evenheat seems easy to work with if the need should arise. This is my first kiln and the ease-of-use is ideal for a newbie. The size means any future maintenance should be simple enough, so I would highly recommend this as a perfect-sized first kiln.
Our Evenheat Kiln actually arrived earlier than the 6 - 8 weeks. Soul Ceramics communication was stellar. They kept us informed each step and answered our question promptly. The kiln has not been uncrated yet as we are moving. However it arrived completely intact. Honestly there is not a mark on the boxes
